i love gisbourne
hey kids, whatup?
things have been fairly hectic in the life of carl.r.muir lately. but not without various patches of excitement.
gisbourne was flaming awesome. I can't believe i hadn't made the trip earlier. there's something about getting out on the open road to which just leads to rejuvenation.
i hadn't visited the town for about 8 years, and can't remember a whole lot from that trip either, so it was cool to get back to small town life, (read: not locking car, no traffic jams, late night strolls, and giving way to the locals in the line up.)
also had the opportunity to catch some surf, which was also rejuvenating, in a draining sort of way.
smallish 2 -3 ft offshore in the morning, and way larger 8 - 9 ft onshore in the arvo, complete with a few axe sessions. awesome.
thanks to the mac.pherson family for letting me come, it was mint.
back to life in akld.
my interview today went well don't think it could have gone much better. thanks for all the prayer, should know on wednesday what the outcome is.
but alas, due to formal interview requirements, had to say goodbye too my furry little friend 'the neckbeard', so if i've read everyone else's coments correctly - bring on the ladies! ha!
i'm not really a proponent for or against facial hair, but do enjoy it's versatility on the odd occasion.
in fact, to sort this facial hair situation, i'm gonna let you the reader decide my facial adornment for the month of july. first to 25 votes wins. let the interactivity begin:

i think that because people voting for cleanshaven only have 1 option... and people voting for facial hair are splitting their vote amongst different options... you should make it first to 25 votes for the facial hair ones and clean shaven has to get to 50 votes! tehe

Ok I suggest a fairer strategy,
1st have a vote on whether facial hair or not facial hair. If facial hair wins, then do all of those other options. It's clear that way more people want facial hair, it's just that they are varied in their opinion of what is best.
