hey kids,

just a brief update in the life and times of a carl . r . muir.

this week has been crazy! but alls well that ends well.
got a phone call today, which concluded in a job offer. sahweet!
i actually thought i had bombed the second interview, but God is good and worthy to be praised. I can now see that it was nothing that i could have done, but only by His grace and power, a lesson He has been teaching me over the past couple of months.

i'm excited about gaining back some much anticipated financial security, but also conscious of the self dependance that brings, so my prayer is to continue to rely on Him to provide for me as i have seen Him do so many times in the past while.

the other advantage of severe underemployment, is the opportunity to help my church out more, i've helped the rest home team, and had the opportunity today to do mercy missions. i don't think there is anything as rewarding as serving other people.
so if you want to experience warmth and well earned rest, go and serve your local church. wicked.

in other facial hair fronts. there has been drama over the reliability of the poll on my blog. and i don't think any one section will make it to 25 votes. so seeing as i have a new job, i might do what all the chick's apparently want, and go clean shaven for a while? i can hear flatmate mocking in the background.....heh
