so fresh and so clean

hey all,

been out and about and down to everybodie's favourite rotovegas for the last couple of days, got to chill with the grandparents and a multitude of cousins and auntys and uncles, so it was pretty rad.

also did quite alot of cruising round and noticed not a lot of graffiti, so obviously the council is working hard down there to correct it or it has not reached the state that it is up here in sth akld.
although it was quite funny driving past the skatepark and seeing big painted rectangles in greyish/blue shade, obviously covering up something?

i got quite bored on the way down, so i was hoping for some hitch-hiker action on the way home, and yes indeed - not 1 but 2.

i picked a taiwanese boy - siem on the outskirts of rotorua and dropped him in hamilton, and picked up an older customer - tim just before mercer and dropped him in pukekohe.
both good natured chaps, although tim was a little rough round the edges.
but therein lies the dilemna of hitchhiking - do you not pick people up cause they look shady/rough/dodgy in that split second decision you make at 100km/h?

my policy is to always pick them up as long as i have enough room, but i will admit that some guys don't do themselves any favours and i have continued to drive past on the odd occasion, but for the majority of strangers i see, i pick them up.

just wondering what your fullas policy was on this matter?

2 down, more to come.

well, peeps.
i've made it. i survived my two weeks of bed rest without a hitch, and can now start working my way back to full shape.
it ain't easy, and definately don't envy anybody in slow recovery mode, but it also takes discipline and thankfully the Lord has been able to strengthen me in that regard. so where to now?

that's an unbelievely good question. firstly i gotta sort out my ACC. apparently 'hernias' aren't always workplace incidents, (how many 24 year olds do you know that have had one?), so i'm kinda battling them thru this whole process, but hopefully i'll know where i stand next week?

and then i guess, its get back to full fitness, don't do anything stupid, and find a less labourious job.
i'm also going down south to hang out with the whanau and rest up down there, which i'm really looking forward to. quality time to be had.
this week, i've been working on the easter camp forms, (hopefully coming to a town near you shortly), i think they look hot. but of course i'm gonna be biased, let me know what you reckon, when you see them.
i don't really have any other news at the moment, but i have been reading lots of good books, which is one benefit of having lots of down time! so i encourage all of you to do some quality reading! it's been very beneficial to me.
i'm also thinking about doing some serious swimming in a week or so, to regain fitness and lung capacity, if anybody wants to come along, you're very welcome. get me some swim buddies, heh!

ok kids, take care eh.

peace out.
