so fresh and so clean

hey all,

been out and about and down to everybodie's favourite rotovegas for the last couple of days, got to chill with the grandparents and a multitude of cousins and auntys and uncles, so it was pretty rad.

also did quite alot of cruising round and noticed not a lot of graffiti, so obviously the council is working hard down there to correct it or it has not reached the state that it is up here in sth akld.
although it was quite funny driving past the skatepark and seeing big painted rectangles in greyish/blue shade, obviously covering up something?

i got quite bored on the way down, so i was hoping for some hitch-hiker action on the way home, and yes indeed - not 1 but 2.

i picked a taiwanese boy - siem on the outskirts of rotorua and dropped him in hamilton, and picked up an older customer - tim just before mercer and dropped him in pukekohe.
both good natured chaps, although tim was a little rough round the edges.
but therein lies the dilemna of hitchhiking - do you not pick people up cause they look shady/rough/dodgy in that split second decision you make at 100km/h?

my policy is to always pick them up as long as i have enough room, but i will admit that some guys don't do themselves any favours and i have continued to drive past on the odd occasion, but for the majority of strangers i see, i pick them up.

just wondering what your fullas policy was on this matter?

chur,

Haven't given it much thought - usually when I'm driving the cars either full, or I'm alone, and not really in the mood for company (I tend to be keep to myself while driving)

I haven't often found my self with the oportunity to pick up hitchhikers. normaly when I travel long distances with with a car load of people. When i had my rental car in dunedin I picked up a couple of girls who were late for a lecture and still up signal hill. I dropped them back to uni. I think that summs up my exploits of hitchhikerpickerupering.

Thanks for the swim too... good times.

I don't think I would ever pick up a hitchhiker, a bit to risky for a girl to pick up a stranger.
